Don’t tube that baby... If you don’t have to.

Are earaches part of a child’s birthright? Why does puncturing and tubing the eardrum seem to be the “treatment” of choice? Must American children repeatedly succumb to ear infections? More important: what’s a parent to do?

Fortunately there are simpler treatments, whether American medicine can see it’s way to recommend them or not. Here is a simple, safe, effective strategy that’s FREE: you’ve got nothing to lose but the tubes. It’s so simple you’ll be skeptical. But, please: just try it! Get your child off cow’s milk (and cheese, obviously).

That’s all there is to it. Get the dairy out! Just try it for a couple weeks. If s/he has an ear infection, you’ll be amazed how much more quickly it passes. Even in just one week you may see major reduction in mucous formation and stuffiness (and ear vulnerability to infection).

Find other sources for protein. If you can, offer human breast milk; shift to other supplements if you’re worried about protein deficiency. Consult your local natural food store for suggestions. I have talked to countless mothers who have been so relieved to find this simple solution and stop those awful earaches.
